Early Sunday morning, five individuals, including three students, were shot and injured during a large fight at a pedestrian mall near the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City. Police responded to reports of altercations on East College Street around 1:46 a.m. and heard gunfire upon arrival. Multiple victims were hospitalized, with one in critical condition and the remaining four in stable condition. University officials confirmed student victims, though identities have not been disclosed.
