Legendary rock drummer Stewart Copeland has teamed up with naturalist Martyn Stewart to create 'Wild Concerto,' an innovative album blending recordings of endangered and extinct animals with orchestral music. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, the project transforms authentic wildlife sounds into a musical symphony, highlighting the beauty and urgency of conservation efforts. Stewart Copeland composed the music based on nearly 30,000 hours of Stewart's field recordings, selectively pairing animal sounds with instruments to evoke their nature.

The album not only serves as a musical tribute but also as a call to action for environmental preservation. Both artists emphasize the significance of audio as a tool to understand and communicate the health of the planet, with Stewart sharing his mission to fight for endangered species through his recordings.
